We believe that the most effective way to serve the materially poor in our city is through partnering with other churches and Christian organizations. The core of our inner city outreach ministry entails building meaningful, Christ-centered relationships. On Saturday mornings, we partner with churches in Boston to serve breakfast at the Congregación León de Judá and go out on the streets near Boston Medical Center to pray for and share the gospel with people experiencing homelessness. We are involved in other activities in the city such as haircutting at a men’s rehab center and hosting journaling groups at a women’s homeless shelter.

As a church, we are passionate about helping to fill some of the systemic education gaps that exist in the inner-city public school system. During the pandemic, with children at home, these gaps have only worsened. We hope to ease some of the burdens that parents are feeling by offering online tutoring to students in need.
As we head into the summer, we’re continuing to partner with Jackson/Mann school and support their summer school. Summer school will run for 5 weeks M-F starting 7/6 - 8/6. The volunteer opportunities will be remote and or outdoors for math, reading, and/or lunch activities anytime between 9:00am-12:30pm EST.
