We believe that the most effective way to serve the materially poor in our city is through partnering with other churches and Christian organizations. The core of our inner city outreach ministry entails building meaningful, Christ-centered relationships. On Saturday mornings, we partner with churches in Boston to serve breakfast at the Congregación León de Judá and go out on the streets near Boston Medical Center to pray for and share the gospel with people experiencing homelessness. We are involved in other activities in the city such as haircutting at a men’s rehab center and hosting journaling groups at a women’s homeless shelter.

We have more opportunities this spring for our college and YA community to partner with the Jackson Mann School as tutors! This will be in-person, approximately 1hr/wk from now until the end of the school year (June). The school is in need of tutors who are available for their intervention blocks, which are in the morning from 8a-12pm. Please consider signing up if you’re interested and able to help out on a weekly basis to build relationships with students and provide support for our teachers during JMS’s last semester.
