Growing up in a Buddhist household, Dayi knew she had met the true God when she first encountered Jesus in middle school. In 2018, she moved to Boston for college at BU where she found a spiritual home at Symphony. During these years, God deepened her understanding of the gospel, surrounded her with God-loving community, and made clear the calling to surrender to Him in every way. This eventually led to Dayi going to Vietnam after college through AMI's 1-year mission internship. She later joined staff at Symphony after returning to the US, and currently attends Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Dayi is passionate about missions, seeing people experience God's healing and redemption, and creating spaces for people to encounter Jesus! She enjoys the simple things in life: spending time with friends, long walks on summer nights, and perusing Facebook marketplace for things she usually doesn't need.
