Lent is meant to be a time of preparing for Easter, a major celebration in Christianity. As we approach the remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection, we embrace this time leading up to Easter Sunday, not as a duty or obligation, but as an opportunity to express and intensify our love and heart for our Savior.
Join us each day as we read and memorize Scripture and pray for ourselves, our community and our city.
31 But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
- Isaiah 40:31 -
1. Pray that we can learn to rest and be still in God’s presence.
2. Pray for our friends/family to feel a need for real soul rest.
