Lent is meant to be a time of preparing for Easter, a major celebration in Christianity. As we approach the remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection, we embrace this time leading up to Easter Sunday, not as a duty or obligation, but as an opportunity to express and intensify our love and heart for our Savior.
Join us each day as we read and memorize Scripture and pray for ourselves, our community and our city.
38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Romans 8:38-39 -
